Preliminary check of your components
Upon receipt of your assembly, we will conduct a detailed incoming inspection. Based on this inspection, we will provide you with a meaningful refurbishment quote.
Your assemblies will be inspected promptly to avoid downtime and keep turnaround times as short as possible until all repair and maintenance work is completed and they are returned.
4-stage calculation
As a rule, the assessment serves to categorize your components into a 4-stage calculation, which forms the basis for a quote tailored to your specific needs and allows us to create a well-founded refurbishment offer for you in the shortest possible time.

Partial steps of the initial assessment (excerpt):
- Visual pre-check for discoloration, fire damage, etc.
- Review of all mechanical components (frame, bracing, busbars, cooling system, etc.)
- Static testing of semiconductors and other active and passive components (e.g., GTOs or IGBTs, diodes, chokes, capacitors, and resistors) for usability

Static check
After the repair order is issued, all new semiconductor components and other active and passive components to be used for the repair are thoroughly inspected using state-of-the-art measuring equipment and highly skilled personnel.
Precise preliminary check – functional components
The dielectric strength is reliably testable: your „old“ semiconductors are already subjected to a static test during the preliminary inspection to draw conclusions about what led to the defect.
Of course, we digitally register your components and maintain their history.
Test procedure
The regular examination process includes the following sub-steps (excerpt):
- Preliminary inspection of all components to be installed
- Measurement of blocking voltage
- Pre-measurement of the disc cells (They are pre-clamped to nominal clamping force using a clamping device that can generate a clamping force of up to 40 kN and subjected to a pre-measurement.)

Disassembly and cleaning
Careful dismantling of your components, with special attention to value-preserving work methods and gentle yet thorough cleaning, are the focus of our efforts at this stage of restoration.
We assure you that through precise and customized work, we will not cause unnecessary destruction during repairs.

Exchange & Assembly of Individual Components
We prioritize the comprehensive replacement of all pre-damaged components in close consultation with our customers to ensure smooth and long-lasting use of your assembly after repair.

We keep an eye on cost-effectiveness:
In order to achieve extremely short lead times, we prefer to use spare parts from our large spare parts warehouse. This allows us to achieve lead times of less than 4 weeks.
