This new trend is called: Vertical winding or Flat wire winding.
In this process, the wire, which is usually made of rectangular copper wire, is wound on its long side, not its broad side.
This allows for optimal use of the installation space, among other things.
SPECIAL Expertise: Coil Coating Products
SANCONA manufactures custom enameled wire products. Enameled wire coils, or air coils, are made from wire coated with a thermoplastic layer. This wire coating is called enamel and liquefies during the baking process. After cooling, enameled wire products are dimensionally stable. The manufacturing of a wide variety of shapes is possible, and the application possibilities are extensive, for example: chip recognition (RFID, NFC, etc.), agricultural machinery (metal detectors), hospital catering (plate warming – induction principle), and much more.
